Walk the Final 200 Miles with Ben & Tarka
Walk the final 200 miles with Ben and Tarka. Tell us how far you cover each day and let's see how far we can collectively travel
Ben and Tarka will cover 1800 miles starting from Scott's Terra Nova Hut at the edge of Antarctica to the South Pole and back to the coast again. That's equivalent to 69 back-to-back marathons hauling up to 200kg each (the weight of roughly two adult men) of kit and supplies necessary to survive.
Distances here are shown in statute miles.
Completing Captain Scott's Terra Nova route has been a lifelong goal of Ben's and has taken more than 10 years of planning and preparation.
Use this clever app, Time Capsule, designed by Intel to set your own goal for 2014 and take the first steps to achieving it.
